We cordially invite you to the 20th Annual Eurasian/Russian-American Innovation Technology Week (RANIT). It will take place on June 11-25, 2015 in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York and the Mid-Atlantic Region . RANIT will include discussions with business leaders, policymakers, financiers, and technology corporations to promote technological cooperation between Eurasian/Russia and American businesses. It will focus on biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry, medical equipment, life sciences, alternative energy, nanotechnology, the chemical industry, information technology, technology in education, and entrepreneurship. RANIT is supported by nearly 30 leading American and Eurasian business and governmental organizations, including the administrations of the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Mid-Atlantic regional organizations focusing on international business, technology, innovations, and entrepreneurship. Eurasian delegations that will take part in the event will consist of representatives from the foremost Eurasian/Russian companies in innovation technology and related industries as well as senior federal and regional government officials.
Key RANIT events will include a Welcoming Ceremony and Opening Sessions in the Mayor’s Reception Room at Philadelphia City Hall (Broad Street and Market Street) from 2:00-5:30PM and 20th Anniversary Reception at the Comcast Center (1701 John F Kennedy Blvd) on June 11 from 6:00-8:00PM, the Eurasian/Russian - American Life Sciences Innovation Conference in Philadelphia on June 11 at City Hall and the Wistar Institute (3601 Spruce Street) on June 12 from 9:00AM-12:00PM, and the Eurasian/Russian - American Innovation Technology, University Research & Commercialization Roundtable at the University City Science Center (3711 Market Street) in Philadelphia on June 15 from 10:30AM-12:00PM. Additional events will be Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council organized Eurasian/Russian participation, including a session discussing the Eurasian Economic Union on June 17 in the Global Innovation Hubs program at the 2015 BIO International Convention in Philadelphia on June 15-18 and 20th RANIT closing announcement at REFF Wall Street in New York on June 24-25.
The Eurasian/Russian - American Life Sciences Innovation Conference will be held at Philadelphia City Hall on June 11, and the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia on June 12, is a multi-industry event, highlighting increased involvement by key Eurasian/Russian and American policy-makers. The discussion will include policy changes that have come as a result of the “Comprehensive Program of Biotechnology Development in Russia to 2020,” the creation of the Eurasian Customs Union and their effect on the Eurasian/Russian - American partnership in the life sciences industry. A multi-country panel will discuss the life sciences development in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Israel, and the United States.
