Philadelphia, PA – The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) is pleased to announce the 14th Semi-Annual Biotechnological Russian-American Technology Week (RANIT-BIO). The event will start on June 23, 2011 in Philadelphia and conclude on June 30, 2011 in Washington, D.C. RANIT is the most significant semi-annual event organized by the Mid-Atlantic-Russia Business Council, which is devoted to Russian-American technology and business cooperation. It will bring together entrepreneurs, scientists, venture capitalists, and established corporations within the American and Russian technology industries.
The events of June 23, 2011 will include a Welcoming Ceremony and Opening Sessions (Russian-American Innovation Cooperation and Innovation Development in Russian Region) at 2:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Philadelphia City Hall. Additional events will include roundtables at the University City Science Center and the Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
The Russian-American Life Sciences Conference will be held on June 24, 2011 at 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the Philadelphia KPMG Office. This Conference will examine the policies that enable innovation in the field of life sciences in both Russia and the U.S. It will also focus on finding the best practices in Russian-U.S. partnership and cooperation in this area.
In addition, you are invited to take part in other events under the framework of the 14th Semi-Annual RANIT-BIO, including the 2011 BIO International Convention on June 27-30, 2011 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. and the Concluding Reception and Closing Ceremony of the 14th RANIT-BIO on June 30, 2011 at the Center of Culture and Science at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Washington, D.C.
